WHO Collaborating Centres (CCs) are integral components of the Global Influenza Surveillance and Response System (GISRS). Operating under WHO-defined Terms of Reference, these Centres support capacity development and the implementation of quality systems to strengthen laboratory and surveillance capacities at national and regional levels.
